New York is honored to host the Global Mainstage of the International Space Apps Challenge, two years running! We are expanding our local event to include a weekend long space science & technology festival, a livestreamed conference program of speakers, panels, and presentations, and of course our Space Apps hackathon site!
Our Saturday and Sunday programming will take place at Microsoft NYC in the heart of Times Square, across the street from the very accessible Port Authority transportation hub. Microsoft is our exclusive 2015 Intergalactic Sponsor and also an Organizing Partner alongside the New York Tech Council and StartupBus NYC. Register on this website to participate in our Space Apps Challenge hackathon; hackathon participants will be allowed to also attend our festival and conference, but if you wish to attend ONLY the festival and conference and NOT participate for the majority of the weekend in the Space Apps Challenge hackathon you MUST register on Eventbrite - only register here on the spaceappschallenge.org website if you intend to fully participate on a project in the hackathon!
Visit our Space Apps NYC website as the weekend approaches for more details about our festival and conference programming!
